Terms and Conditions
- Promoter
The promoter is Pengana Capital Limited (‘Pengana’ or ‘TermPlus’) (ABN 30 103 800 568, AFSL 226566) of Level 27, Governor Phillip Tower, 1 Farrer Place, Sydney NSW 2000 (“Promoter”).
- Competition Period
The competition commences at 12:00am AEST on 15 April 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 31 May 2026 (“Competition Period”).
- Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
The following persons are not eligible to enter:
- Directors, officers, employees and contractors of the Promoter and its related entities
- Immediate family members (spouse, de facto partner, parent, child or sibling) of the above
- Any person involved in judging the competition
- Entry
To enter, participants must during the Competition Period:
- Complete the TermPlus Money Mindset survey in full; and
- Submit all required details, including name, email, and state of residence.
Additional conditions:
- Only one (1) entry per person is permitted
- Entries must be complete and submitted in accordance with these Terms
- Incomplete, inaccurate or duplicate entries will not be accepted
Additional requirement (competition entry question):
Provide an original written response of no more than 25 words to the following question:
“Tell us in 25 words or less, what you would do with extra monthly income from your savings.”
- Nature of Competition
This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
Only responses to the competition entry question will be judged. Survey responses will not be judged and are collected for research purposes only. The competition entry question is Question 15 of the survey. Entries will be assessed solely on the written response provided to that question.
Each valid entry will be assessed based on:
- Originality and clarity of insight
- Relevance to the question posed
- Quality of reasoning demonstrated
Entries will be judged by a panel appointed by the Promoter.
- Prize
There will be one (1) winner.
The winner will receive:
A Flight Centre voucher valued at $5,000
- Prize Conditions
- The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash
- If any element of the prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value
- The winner must comply with any booking or supplier conditions imposed by Flight Centre.
- Winner Selection
The winner will be determined at Level 27, Governor Phillip Tower, Sydney NSW on or around 10 June 2026.
The judging panel will assess all valid entries against the criteria set out in Section 5 above. The winner will be the entrant whose response to Question 15 is assessed by the judging panel as demonstrating the highest overall quality across all judging criteria.
The judging panel’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Winner Notification
The winner will be notified by telephone and email within 2 business days of selection.
The winner will also be announced on the TermPlus LinkedIn page (linkedin.com/company/termplus) on or around 15 June 2026.
If the winner cannot be contacted by telephone or does not respond to email notification within 5 business days, the Promoter reserves the right to select a new winner.
If the prize remains unclaimed after 14 days from initial notification, the Promoter may award the prize to the next best valid entry, as determined by the judging panel.
- Verification
The winner must:
- Provide proof of identity and residency upon request
- Comply with all eligibility requirements
Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
- Intellectual Property
By entering, entrants grant the Promoter a perpetual, worldwide, royalty‑free, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, publish, edit and adapt their competition entry (including excerpts) for research, reporting, marketing and promotional purposes.
- Promotional Activities
The winner may be invited (but is not obliged) to participate in reasonable promotional activities, including testimonials or marketing materials, subject to separate consent.
- Disqualification
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:
- Submits false or misleading information
- Tampers with the entry process
- Does not comply with these Terms and Conditions
- Privacy
By entering, participants consent to the Promoter collecting and using personal information for:
- Administering the competition
- Contacting entrants
- Marketing communications (where consent is provided)
Participants may unsubscribe at any time.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
- Tax
The competition, survey and any associated content are general information only and do not constitute financial, legal or tax advice. Participation does not imply any improvement in financial outcomes.
The Promoter makes no representations regarding tax implications of accepting the prize.
Entrants are responsible for seeking independent financial advice and for any tax payable.
- Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Subject to that, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the competition or use of the prize.
- Modification or Cancellation
The Promoter reserves the right to:
- Modify, suspend or cancel the competition at any time
- Amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice
subject to applicable laws.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
- General
By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
